We're looking forward to sharing some of our work at the Association for Computers and the Humanities conference in Pittsburgh. Harmony and Kate will be giving a talk on Thursday July 25th on the 9am panel on Race and Data.
We also made this fabulous (if we do say so ourselves) poster that we'll be showing with Antonio the day before. The underlying question of the poster is: How do we meaningfully connect thousands of places to which Dunham toured, hundreds of performers, and hundreds of pieces in order to think about dance’s circulation and transmission?
If you're in Pittsburgh, do stop in to demo some of the interactive work in progress but if you're not, here's a bit of what we've been up to.
